Streeeeamer is local-first. This page mirrors the data disclosure available inside the Mac app.

Your media Stored locally Enhanced Library Tracking Contact

Your media stays under your control

Streeeeamer reads only the folder you select. It does not upload your video files to NYRTH. While the server is running, devices on your local network can request media from that folder.

Keep PIN protection enabled and share the address only with people and devices you trust.

Information stored on this Mac

The selected-folder permission, display preferences, and scan progress are stored locally. Your server PIN is stored in macOS Keychain.

Generated thumbnails, downloaded subtitle files, and Enhanced Library metadata may be saved inside the selected media folder.

Enhanced Library network requests

Enhanced Library is optional. When enabled, Streeeeamer may send inferred movie or series titles, years, person names, and subtitle-language choices to Cinemeta, Wikipedia/Wikidata, and Subtitle Cat to find metadata, artwork, people, or subtitles.

Those services receive normal connection information such as your IP address and apply their own privacy practices. Your video files are not sent to them.

Diagnostics and tracking

Streeeeamer does not include advertising SDKs, developer analytics, accounts, or cross-app tracking.

Connection details shown in the app are held for local diagnostics and are not sent to NYRTH.
