Connection to your Mac
Streeeeamer for iOS is intended to connect to a Streeeeamer server that you select on your local network. The app may process the server address, port, and PIN you provide in order to establish and maintain that connection.
Your Mac and local-network equipment can see ordinary connection information such as the iPhone’s local IP address, request times, and requested paths.
Your media is not uploaded to NYRTH
Video, audio, subtitles, artwork, and library metadata are requested from your Mac server and delivered to the iOS device. NYRTH does not operate a cloud media host for this transfer and does not receive your video files.
Anyone with working connection details on the same network may be able to access the shared library. Keep PIN protection enabled and share access only with people and devices you trust.
Information on your device
The app may store connection details, preferences, recent playback state, cached images, and temporary playback data on your iPhone so that the client can function. iOS may include this app data in device backups according to your Apple and device settings.
You can remove locally stored app data by using controls provided in the app, where available, or by deleting the app.
Apple and other services
Apple may process App Store transactions, downloads, diagnostics, and other platform data under Apple’s own terms and privacy policy. Network requests made by the Mac server for optional Enhanced Library features are described in the Mac app’s Privacy & Data notice.
The intended iOS client does not require a NYRTH account, advertising SDK, or cross-app tracking. This statement must be reconfirmed before release.
Your choices and rights
You can stop media access by disconnecting the client, stopping the Mac server, changing its PIN, or removing the shared folder. Depending on where you live, you may have legal rights regarding personal data. Contact NYRTH to ask a privacy question or make a request.
Children
The app is not intended to collect personal information from children through a NYRTH account or service. A final age-rating and children’s-privacy review is required before distribution.
